We are looking for someone to build the key link of the artistic vision and the technical solution to our new game - Bloodhunt! A great UI Tech Artist will be able to take our designs, implement them into the game, and do them justice. You will be involved in every step of the design and implementation process. Without you, the game wouldn't even be playable.
Your responsibility is to make sure the UI is implemented in the game and behaves like you, the artists and designers have intended. It's a broad position where you are involved in every step of the game development. You will collaborate directly with multiple teams to create a consistent and engaging experience for players. As we are working with a live service game you will be tasked with ongoing improvements and updating features based on community feedback and user data. UI is never an afterthought at Sharkmob; creating smart and easily edited structures in the early stages of the project is crucial for success.
- At least five years experience specialized in UI Implementation
- Shipped a AAA title
- Experience in at least on of the following engines: Unreal, unity, snowdrop or frostbite
- Experience working crossdisciplinarity
- Experience in motion graphics, animation or VFX
- Experience in console and PC
That Little Extra:
- Knowledge in C++
- Graphics programming, working with shaders
Who we are
Sharkmob was founded in 2017 and has offices in Malmö, Sweden, and London, UK. The studio develops AAA quality games for PC and console, using the Unreal Engine to power its ambitions of taking multiplayer games to new heights. Sharkmob is currently working on three major projects: Bloodhunt - a battle royale set in the Vampire: The Masquerade universe; and two proprietary, unannounced projects.
