The live operations (LiveOps) department of a studio maintains and improves a game after it’s gone live. A cornerstone for ensuring a game stays fun, it’s also especially essential for any in the online multiplayer category to reach its full potential. Our LiveOps team provides the cloud infrastructure and support necessary for our players to have the best online experience throughout the life cycles of our games. They’re responsible for monitoring metrics to identify issues, then implementing and logging solutions that keep unexpected downtime to a minimum. LiveOps team members solve problems before they’re noticeable and leave systems more reliable and with stronger security than when they found them.
Ideal candidates are skilled in using network observability, have experience with Terraform for Kubernetes, and know to make systems more efficient. They should also be able to work with GCP, ElasticSearch, VictoriaMetrics, GitLab, Grafana, Fluent Bit, and Argo CD.
