SHARKMOB'S RELOCATION PACKAGE

As soon as Sharkmob’s offer of employment is accepted, we begin coordinating the process of applying for all permits or visas the new hire and their family members need.
Once a timeline for relocation is set, we pay to fly a new employee and all the family members moving with them — no matter where they’re traveling from.

Sharkmob reimburses the cost of transporting household and personal items. New employees hire their moving companies and receive reimbursement afterward.
We partner with relocation companies to assist in finding a place to live. They can work with realtors, arrange property viewings, advise on lease agreements, and more.

From opening a bank account and taxes to navigating the school and healthcare systems, our partner relocation companies will help with key aspects of settling in.

FAQ

  • Every new employee relocation is different. Depending on your unique circumstances and visa or permit requirements, the process can take between two and three months from when you accept Sharkmob’s offer of employment, with relocating to Malmö typically taking less time than relocating to London.

  • Sharkmob supports relocation for a new employee’s immediate family members: your spouse and dependent children. This includes visa or permit applications.

    Pets — which may be considered a member of the family — are a different story. Relocating with a pet depends on the type of animal, the breed, veterinary records, and so on. Employees must work out if and how they can bring a pet on their own.

     

  • Relocating means not only adjusting to life in another part of the world but also acclimating to a new job. Everyone’s situation is unique, and settling in doesn’t happen overnight. Even after onboarding and starting at your position, you’ll probably still need to take time away from work for meetings at banks and the tax office. However, most new Sharkmob employees are able to settle in and begin focusing on their roles within two to three weeks of arriving.
